On the surface, it seems like a pretty simple synthesizer, with just one oscillator, one LFO and 2 envelopes, however, in this case the whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. The Jupiter 4 has a massive tonal range all considered.
Not a lot of Jupiter 4 samples yet as it’s hard to sample with out midi or cv/gate control (I use Autosampler to cheat at making samples. You too could have a cool samples website, check it out http://www.redmatica.com). Still, I reckon you’ll find something useful here.
Btw, make sure you check out the whole Modular Samples website since it is a true goldmine of free vintage synthesizer samples. It’s a rather new resource (seems like the website was launched in November 2010) and I haven’t seen it mentioned a lot around the web. Let’s hope they don’t get bandwidth problems when the bpb crew starts downloading. ^^
Two commercial sample collections are available for purchase on this page. All free samples by Modular Samples are released as Public Domain, without any usage restrictions.

System Requirements (macOS™)
System Requirements (Windows®)
1. Although Roland has tested numerous configurations and has determined that on average, a computer system similar to that described above will permit normal operation of the PLUG-OUT SOFTWARE SYNTHESIZER, Roland cannot guarantee that a given computer can be used satisfactorily with the PLUG-OUT SOFTWARE SYNTHESIZER based solely on the fact that it meets the above requirements. This is because there are too many other variables that may influence the processing environment, including differences in motherboard design and the particular combination of other devices involved. 2. This Software Synthesizer cannot be plugged-out to SYSTEM-1 or SYSTEM-1m hardware. If the JUPITER-8 is already plugged-out to one of the plug-out destinations of SYSTEM-8 hardware, you cannot plug-out a new instance. A SYSTEM-8 Hardware synthesizer is not required to use this instrument in your DAW, but is required for this software synthesizer to plug-out to a hardware synthesizer. Roland Fantom Vst Plugin
